Just a few reminders and requests.
CAMPOREE
For the Union Camporee, we are looking for additional individuals/groups willing to teach honors or manage activities during the Camporee. We need 10 honors or activities to be handled both Friday during the day and Saturday afternoon. They should be activities that are not already listed in the union camporee events site (http://www.swucamporee.org/). Please contact Everardo if you can assist.
AYMT AND TLT TRAINING
Remember we are just over a week away from the Central Texas AYMT training. It will be held at the Laurel Heights Church July 23-24. The training takes two days (each track is around 10 hours). If you have already registered, please do us a favor and send an email letting us know how many are taking which track in English and how many in Spanish.
If you haven’t registered, please do so at http://centraltexaspathfinders.weebly.com/aymt---staff-training.html and in the notes section, tell us how many will be taking which track in English or Spanish. We are offering separate classes in each language, so need to know to prepare materials. Registration closes this Sunday night, so please register soon.
Remember that if your club will have a TLT program, your TLTs and mentors must attend a training session. If you cannot make the session with Central Texas, here are the dates for other sessions:
July 30-31: Dallas/East Texas
August 6-7: Valley/Coastal Bend
August 27-28: Houston/Bay Area
September 3-4: Keene/Fort Worth
Please note for TLTs, you must bring the following to the training session (these are attached):
A) TLT Manual (They need to bring a copy)
B) The application needs to be completely filled, except for the signature of the TLT (Parent and director need to sign). This application will serve as form of registration, so each one of them needs to bring it with all necessary signatures.
C) During the training the TLT will have to choose:
* If they want to volunteer as TLT during the Union Camporee
* If they want to conduct and Evangelistic Campaign next year
D) For every three to Five TLT the club must send a mentor to take the training
