Hello all,
The Shield the Vulnerable program is now also available in Spanish (there is a button at the top right to change to the Spanish version).
Also, we have verified with the Conference (in regards to a question raised at Training) - A background check IS done on ALL adult volunteers who take the Shield the Vulnerable course, not just on a random selection.
Finally, you can contact Scott Stewart at the Texas Conference office to run a list of all the individuals at your church/club who are up to date with their Shield the Vulnerable training and background check. In addition to the certificates that the volunteers should print from the program, this serves as a verification for you as Director, and can be shown to parents to verify all staff have undergone the training and had a background check completed.
