I know this is a lot of email these past few weeks, but with so many events packed together, there are always last minute items.
1. Just a reminder that if you want to place an order with AdventSource to be delivered to Camporee, I need that tonight or first thing tomorrow morning - i will be sending in the requests at 9AM.
2. On the CTX website, in the Directors Corner, we are now archiving all of the email announcements and updates. So if you missed one, or cant find something from before, you can now also find them at http://centraltexaspathfinders.weebly.com/announcements-and-messages
3. Please remember to register at the CTX site for when you are coming to Camporee, and what Staff or Adults with your group will be volunteering to assist with the activities on Friday.
4. Below, in English and Spanish, are some additional details for this Sabbath for passing out fliers for the Pathways to Health in San Antonio. Any additional questions can be directed to the Southwestern Union Youth Department.
We do need lots of help passing out about 10,000 invitations for the Pathway to Health event in San Antonio this coming Sabbath, March 28, 2015.
We need everyone who can help to meet at the 2nd Baptist Church located at 3310 E. Commerce, San Antonio, TX 78220 at 2 p.m.
We will pass out flyers from 2 – 6 p.m. then everyone will meet back at the Baptist Church for sundown worship and open gym night until 11 p.m.
Those who do not have transportation to go further away will stay within walking distance of the church to pass out the flyers there. Others who have vehicles to move in will be sent to certain church neighborhoods a little further away.
We’ll have maps of San Antonio to pass out so that everyone can know where to go and what neighborhoods to invite. We are asking that flyers not be left at doors or on cars but rather visit face to face with the people who we are inviting.
Come join us for an awesome Community Service opportunity where we may just be someone’s answer to prayer for the medical treatment they have been needing.
Nosotros necesitamos mucha ayuda repartiendo cerca de 10.000 invitaciones para el evento Pathway to Health en San Antonio el próximo sábado 28 de marzo de 2015.
Necesitamos que todos los que pueden ayudar nos reunamos en la 2da Iglesia Bautista ubicada en el 3310 E. Comercio, San Antonio, TX 78220 a las 2 pm.
Pasaremos los volantes de 2-6 pm y luego nos reuniremos de nuevo en la Iglesia Bautista para despedir el sábado a la puesta del sol y jugar en el gimnasio hasta las 11 pm.
Los que no tienen transporte para ir más lejos se quedarán a poca distancia de la iglesia para repartir los volantes. Otros que tengan vehículos para moverse serán enviados a ciertos barrios un poco más lejos de la iglesia.
Tendremos mapas de San Antonio para repartir para que todos puedan saber a dónde ir y a qué barrios invitar. Estamos pidiendo que los volantes no se dejen en las puertas o en los coches, sino que visiten cara a cara con las personas que estamos invitando.
Ven y únete a nosotros para una increíble oportunidad de servicio a la comunidad en la que sólo puede ser la respuesta a la oración de una persona por el tratamiento médico que están necesitando.
