Hello all,
I know many of you are already planning the next Pathfinder year. Just wanted to pass on a little info as to what we are working on planning, though most dates are not set yet. We would be happy to take suggestions on best dates for some events, as well as volunteers to assist in planning, hosting, and helping carry out the various events.
2016-17 Central Texas AYMT Session
July 23-24, 2016
Location to be announced
Tracks presented: Basic Staff Training, Instructors’ Track, TLT
(2-8PM Sabbath, 8AM-2PM or so Sunday. $10 per person, bring your own food)
Dates for PBE 2017
Area: February 4, 2017
Conference: March 4, 2017
Union: TBD
Division: April 21-22, 2017
Southwestern Union Pathfinder Camporee - “Stand Firm"
October 13-16, 2016
Lake Whitney Ranch
Texas Conference Camporee
April 13-16, 2017
Lake Whitney Ranch
Honor Fair - November and Spring
Pinewood Derby - Early Spring
25 mile Teen backpacking trip - November or Jan/Feb.
Area-wide outreach/service programs (Lake clean-up, Tree planting, painting over graffiti, etc)
I know this isn't exactly a well finalized set of events and dates, but hopefully this helps as you begin planning. Please remember in your annual plans to have at least two programs that engage in outreach and/or service to your local community.
And please let us know if there are changes to the staffing or contact info for your club. Also check the CTX website to verify we have your club listed.
