It appears many clubs have been actively coordinating for Sabbath School, and to get to know one another. That is great!
A couple more updates, please take the time to read through each one.
Location: 701 Elder Hill Road, Driftwood, TX 78619
To all clubs: we have some 270 Pathfinders and 198 staff attending Camporee. But only a very small number of clubs offered any staff to assist with monitoring activities, with security or any other aspects of managing the Camporee and ensuring we have a safe and enjoyable environment. I strongly encourage each club to re-look at their staff and offer some assistance, even if only a couple of hours. We will have a way to sign up for helping out at registration, or we will be coming around clubs during the event and asking for staff.
We have some opportunities for special music during the main programs - we can accept a total of 6 special music groups or individuals. If you have a group, let us know - first come first serve.
If you offered staff available to teach an honor, and still have the inclination, please contact me asap so we can coordinate whether it is a better fit Sabbath or Sunday, and other details.
Another reminder that we will have DRINKING water, but not cooking or cleaning water available.
Finally, don't forget your materials for the Adventist Community Services packages. We will arrange time to put these together, it only takes a few minutes, but it has a huge impact for people facing crises.
