Hello all,
I'm passing on a letter from Gene Clapp, our Texas Conference Pathfinder Director. Please read below:
To all,
As all of you know, March 28 is going to be a very big day in San Antonio, Texas with the Southwestern Union Pathfinder Bible Experience program in the afternoon and the handing out of brochures in many areas of San Antonio, advertising the Pathways to Health program taking place at the Alamodome the second week of April. Please tell all who are planning to attend these great events that our Sabbath morning will begin with Sabbath School and Worship in the Sanctuary of the Second Baptist Church, 3310 E. Commerce Street, San Antonio, Texas. This is just east of Downtown San Antonio, near the ATT Center. We will fellowship through worship and praise in the morning. We will be blessed to have our lunch served there at the church and gymnasium. In the afternoon we will have two activities, the PBE program and handing out the Pathways to Health brochures. We will all return to the Second Baptist Church for food and fun following our afternoon activities.
Many of clubs will be coming to the church specifically for the PBE program. Please ask them to consider bringing their entire club and while the PBE program is going on, the rest of the club can help out with the Pathways to Health brochures.
If you have no team at the Union PBE testing, come and help pass out the brochures!
We need as many people as possible to help out with the brochures! Come yourself, bring your friends, relatives and church members! The brochure distribution will take about 3 hours on Sabbath Afternoon.
As a reminder, the gymnasium will be open after sundown for basketball, volleyball and bowling!. Many are planning to take advantage of the discount tickets to go to Fiesta Texas (Six Flags) on Sunday. You must buy your tickets in advance. Please contact Suzanne Facundo at the SW Union Office.
Thanks and we look forward to seeing all of you and your clubs
Gene
