Hello all, it is time for Pathfinder Club registration. Registration is a two-step process - you must register your club with the Central Texas Area, and with the Texas Conference. Each serves your club in a different way, and it is important to be registered with both.
1. Registering with the Central Texas Area:
Go to CTXPathfinders.org. In the pull-down under the Directors Corner, click on Club Registration. Fill out all of the form. The registration fee is $3.00 perversion (Pathfinder AND Staff). Registration with the Area helps defer the cost of Area events and activities. Payment is made via check, made out to Scenic Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church - please write CTX Pathfinder Registration on the note line. Send the check to Scenic hills Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11223 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78250-6817.
2. Registering with the Texas Conference:
Go to https://www.ultracamp.com/info/sessionDetail.aspx?idCamp=368&idSession=101318&campCode=tsd. Follow the directions to register (see below). Registration fee is $3.00 per person (Pathfinder AND Staff). Registration with the Conference helps defer Conference activity and event fees, as well as provides additional insurance coverage in case of accidents during approved Pathfinder activities and events. Payment will be made online.
Instructions for using UltraCamp to register Pathfinder Club with Texas Conference:
1. Each Director Must "Create An Account" (Each Club Director will be the Primary Contact on the account.)
2. Go to: "Add a new person to my account" (to add each person individually who will be in the club).
3. Go to "Make a reservation" & select the session that your group would like to attend (once you are ready to register the entire group).
4. Go to "Make a payment" (when you are ready to check out. No reservation will be saved without a Payment.)
Note:
If you already have an account you just have to go to "Add a new person to my account" in case of new members or step number 3 & 4 if there is no new members to add.

3. Ensure ALL Staff have taken the Shield The Vulnerable online courses within the past three years. Any staff member who has never taken the course, or has not reviewed the course in the past three years MUST take the course again. This is a very important course, and provides information related to preventing, identifying and reporting potential abuse against children. The program also provides the background checks that were once done through the Conference office. Please note that any staff who has NOT completed these courses will NOT be allowed to participate in Area or Conference events. Information on Shield The Vulnerable is in the attached PDF. You may access the Shield The Vulnerable course through the CTXPathfinders.org website, on the Documents and Forms page. Scroll down to Basic Material and Forms for Staff. There is a link to Shield the Vulnerable, as well as the Staff Volunteer form (to retain at the Club level) and the Volunteer Code of Conduct form (to be signed and retained by the Staff member in their portfolio). La cuota es de $3.00 por persona(Conquistador y Staff). La cuota de la Conferencia ayuda con actividades y eventos que se llevan a cabo a nivel de conferencia. También ayuda con cobertura de seguro adicional en caso de un accidente durante una actividad aprobada de Conquistadores. La cuota de la Conferencia sera hecha vía el internet.
Instrucciones para usar UltraCamp para registrarse con la Conferencia:
1. Cada director debe crear “una cuenta” (El director sera la persona de contacto).
2. Ir a: “Agregar una persona a mi cuenta” (Add a new person to my account) – debes meter cada persona que estará en tu club aquí
3. Ir a: “Hacer una reservación” (Make a reservation) – seleccionar el evento que el club desea atender(ya que todo el grupo este registrado)
4. Ir a: “Hacer un pago”(Make a payment) – cuando estes listo para terminar. No se hará reservacion sin hacer el pago!
Nota: Si ya tienes un cuenta en este programa (UltraCamp), solo tienes que ir a “Add a new person to my account”(Agregar una nueva persona a mi cuenta) en caso si tienes nuevos integrantes al club. Si no, solo hacer pasos 3 y 4 si nadie nuevo se va a integrar al club.

Asegurarze que TODO el staff(personal) haiga tomado la clase Shield The Vulnerable a traves del internet entre los ultimos tres anos. Cualquier persona del staff(personal) que no ha tomado este curso o no ha actualizado este curso dentro los ultimos tres anos, tiene que tomar el curso de nuevo. Este curso es de mucha importancia ya que nos ayuda a prevenir, identificar o reportar abuso contra nuestros Conquistadores. El programa tambien proveye una verificacion de antecedents que se habian hecho a traves de la conferencia. Por favor notar que cualquier staff(personal) que no haya terminado este curso, NO podra participar en eventos del area o de la conferencia. Informacion sobre el programa Shield The Vulnerable, esta en el archivo que se encuentra en este correo. Si deseas, puedes tener acceso a este programa(Shield The Vulnerable) a traves de la pagina del area(CTXPathfinders.org). No solo esta este programa en el sitio del area sino otras formas que se necesitan.
